Tonight, Retrosexual play a gig in honour of the Horny Reverend Taylor’s departure from St Thomas’ Church in Aldridge. We’ve been honoured to have Rev Taylor join the band on trumpet for the last few gigs… adding his trademark horn to such greats as Freedom, Dude Looks Like A Lady, Disco Inferno, Does Your Mother Know etc.
We’ll miss him – but we wish him well.
Rich is a top bloke and outside of the band, I’ll miss him being around the place. His new parish is very lucky to have him. I’m sure we’ll see some more of him in the future. I hate goodbyes. Tonight’s is the first of a couple this year. I’m preparing myself in advance.
