It’s been a busy time in the life of RGJ over the last few months.
Work has been a little busy of late. Concerts with Antonio in Manchester, training new members of staff, trying to hit figures and targets. Work is good though. Enjoying it (and it’s stresses!) at the moment.
Aston Villa are doing well. As I type, they’re 5th in the PL, but after the game on Wednesday against Blackburn, we were 4th and still in the UEFA cup. Since my last football update, we’ve smashed Wigan 4-0, beaten a resiliant Blackburn team 3-2, beaten AJAX 2-1 (I feel as if I was there in spirit) andwe’re looking good for the season. I am feeling confident.
Much drink and entertainment to be had last night celebrating the elder of the Clarke brothers 30th Birthday. Happy Birthday Steve! The collective of friends and famiy gathered at The James Brindley in Birmingham, featuring guest DJ slots by Al Clarke, Matt Wallace and of course The Scratchdog! A cheeky after hours one in the Tap & Spille afterwards and Sal & I were done.
A number of firsts happened late last night / this morning;
1) I woke up without the mother of all hangovers despite drinking a lot of Corona (mmmm, Corona!!)
2) Sal woke up with a hangover!!!!
3) Despite REALLY wanting a Kebab last night, I resisted and didn’t.
Good times. So, it’s the start of a big week this week. Glasgow tomorrow (monday), Stoke on Tuesday then meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, before Music Live at the NEC on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Happy Birthday Rich.

We had Kebab!
We got a taxi from B’ham to Walsall with everyone else ate kebab then taxied home!
I still don’t know why we didn’t have food in B’ham!!?
