Wondering what to blog, I decided to look through some pictures on my mobile.
Here are a selection.
It’s made me think about the places I go, the people I meet, the conversations I have. The stupid things I do when I’m bored (hence the cat in a Villa scarf).
I have such a rich and varied life, it’s fun. I get grumpy and annoyed very easily. I know that this will come as a great revelation and shock to my closest friends… (or perhaps not) but it’s only occasionally that I look through photos, catch up on emails, make the first move in ringing someone, or popping round to visit them, that I truley take stock and realise that things aren’t so bad afterall. I have amazing friends. Each one different. Each one unique. Each one brings something very different to my life. I am grateful for this variety.
Hot news that’s happened between my last post and this one is that Jean Michel Jarre is touring and I’ve managed to get tickets to see
him in Symphony Hall, Birmingham. This makes me very happy indeed. I like the odd bit of Jarre. In fact, I like more than the odd bit of Jarre – so I am looking forward to it immensely. I
‘m thinking that he might be finding it a little tricky with the health and safetly executive to get permission for the lazers and fireworks that normally accompany a Jarre performance…
Well, it’s a long day for me tomorrow. A nice full day at work and then another rehearsal with Retrosexual. It’s starting to sound bloody good now and even I’m sounding ok too. With that, I bid you farewell.
